Amelia Rose Blaire and Jurnee Smollett are joining the cast of True Blood‘s sixth season, says TV Line. This news comes in a month after we learned of another newcomer joining the show: Arliss Howard, who will be playing a Louisiana governor.
According to the site, Smollett will play Nicole, “a do-gooder who possesses the rosy outlook of someone that life hasn’t beaten down yet. She’s not concerned with money and more concerned with the doing what’s right.” Blaire, on the other hand, will play Willa, daughter of the aforementioned Louisiana governor.
Look for the new season to kick off this summer.
