Supernatural Thriller Soulmate Shooting Soon, Axelle Carolyn to Direct
Axelle Carolyn is set to direct Soulmate based on a script she penned, says Variety. On the executive producing side of things, a familiar face in the genre: Neil Marshall (The Descent, Doomsday). Carolyn herself is a known name in the genre. Beyond the short films she has helmed, she also penned the book, "It Lives Again! Horror Movies in the New Millennium."

Clare Higgins (Hellraiser), Emma Cleasby (Dog Soldiers), Anna Walton (Hellboy II: The Golden Army) and Nick Brimble (A Knight's Tale) will star in the film which "follows a woman who decides to retreat to a remote cottage after a failed suicide attempt. She soon discovers the cottage is haunted by its previous owner but decides to remain, hoping to find comfort in the ghost."
