Since its preview at Comic-Con this month, fans of Silent Hill – both of the video game franchise and feature film – have been eager to see more from Silent Hill: Revelation, the 3D sequel directed by Michael J. Bassett and opening in theaters October 26th.
To date, we’ve been privy to a handful of photos and this nurse attack clip, but today, a trailer has officially hit – you’ll find it after the jump. Six years after the first film, it’s good to see the original cast back and Bassett certainly has a grasp on the visuals established by Christophe Gans. Bassett, of course, has a few surprises of his own to share.
Synopsis: For years, Heather Mason (Adelaide Clemens) and her father (Sean Bean) have been on the run, always one step ahead of dangerous forces that she doesn’t fully understand. Now on the eve of her 18th birthday, plagued by terrifying nightmares and the disappearance of her father, Heather discovers she’s not who she thinks she is. The revelation leads her deeper into a demonic world that threatens to trap her in Silent Hill forever.
