When Hugh Dancy was cast in NBC’s forthcoming Hannibal series, the big question was: Who will play Hannibal Lecter himself? Well, our answer is finally here.
EW reports Mads Mikkelsen (Valhalla Rising) has been cast to play the cannibalistic doctor. Mikkelsen is also playing the villain in the upcoming Thor 2.
Bryan Fuller is executive producing and writing the series. David Slade will helm the pilot. Dancy, meanwhile, is playing FBI agent William Graham.
