Eric England has cause for celebration this week. His directorial effort, Madison County, hits stores tomorrow, and, he has a cast for his latest film, Contracted – a bizarro hyper-sexual thriller he begins shooting in Los Angeles next weekend.
Shock has learned Najarra Townsend (pictured, Me And You and Everyone We Know), Charley Koontz (Community), Katie Stegeman (Madison County), Matt Mercer (Madison County), Simon Barrett (writer of You’re Next), Dave Holms (Reno 911), E-Kan Soong (Larry Crowne), Alice MacDonald, Ruben Pla (Insidious) and Lionel D. Carson (Roadside) will star.
In the film, a young girl has a one-night stand with a random stranger and contracts, what she thinks is, a sexually-transmitted disease – but is actually something much worse.
England is directing from a script he penned. J.D. Lifshitz and Raphael Margules of Boulderlight Pictures are producing.
