Guillermo del Toro, Emma Watson Team With Warner Bros. for Beauty and the Beast
Confirming the exclusive we broke right here, Guillermo del Toro is going to direct Beauty and the Beast. And he's doing it Warner Bros.
According to an update at Variety, Del Toro is now planning to direct as well as produce with Andrew Davies (The Three Musketeers, Bridget Jones's Diary) providing the screenplay.
Del Toro's next film, Pacific Rim is now in production with a cast that includes Charlie Hunnam, Idris Elba, Charlie Day, Rinko Kikuchi, Max Martini, Willem Dafoe, Robert Kazinsky, Clifton Collins Jr., Diego Klattenhoff and Ron Perlman.
