Piper Perabo Joins the Cast of Red Machine
If you thought Hollywood's latest "man versus nature" outing, Red Machine, was going to be fueled solely by an all-male cast, think again.
Deadline reports Piper Perabo (Carriers, Looper) will take a role as "a deaf photographer who is engaged to Beckett (Jane), whom she met during the Iraq War."
Beckett is played by Thomas Jane (The Mist); his co-stars include James Marsden and Billy Bob Thornton. There is one more role to be filled by another actress.

David Hackl (Saw V) is currently up in Canada shooting Red Machine, which was penned by J.R. Reher. The story concerns two couples who venture out on a camping expedition in Alaska only to meet a grizzly bear that is out for their blood. Thornton plays a bear hunter.
