Heat Vision reports Contrafilm is dusting off an old script called Bedbugs to exploit recent headlines about bedbugs infesting a movie theater in Toronto.
The script reportedly resided at New Line and was written by Carter Blanchard (G vs. E). It told of a small town infected by a bizarre breed of bedbugs that burrow inside their victims. Contrafilm's Beau Flynn and Tripp Vinson now have the rights to the script after it went into turnaround. The company is behind The Rite and the Red Dawn remake.
