Plot Summary: In the action-packed new thriller from writer/director Neil Marshall ("The Descent"), authorities brutally quarantine a country as it succumbs to fear and chaos when a virus strikes. The literal walling-off works for three decades – until the dreaded Reaper virus violently resurfaces in a major city. An elite group of specialists, captained by Eden Sinclair (Rhona Mitra), is urgently dispatched into the still-quarantined country to retrieve a cure by any means necessary. Shut off from the rest of the world, the unit must battle through a landscape that has become a waking nightmare.

Pay no attention to the illiterate comment above. What i was trying to say was of course: It was even better when they called it Mad Max: The Road Warrior

It´s like a Mad Max upgrade mix with American Gladiators. It´s sounds good.

Wow, so im not the only one who noticed the fact that they completely ripped off mad max! thank god i thought i was going crazy!

I believe it like a Mad Max combo with Resident Evil style of movie. I'm still going to see it.

i dont doubt that this is some kind of rip off (im still seein it) but they already are making escape from new york with gerard butler in it

Posted by: monster on March 13, 2008 at 00:29:43

um, gerard butler dropped out of the escape from new york remake months ago. that project is in limbo now cause the director has dropped out too.

i saw this movie and i can honestly say that it isnt so much a "rip off" as much as they just kinda took the best parts from movies like, Mad Max, Lord of the Rings, Lord of the Flies, and Resident Evil and just made 1 giant kick ass movie. every 5 mins, you think to yourself, "no way are they gonna top THIS!"...and then they do.
