Plot Summary: It is said that Halloween is the night when the dead rise to walk among us and other unspeakable things roam free. The rituals of All Hallows Eve were devised to protect us from their evil mischief, and one small town is about to be taught a terrifying lesson that some traditions are best not forgotten. Nothing is what it seems when a suburban couple learns the dangers of blowing out a Jack-o-Lantern before midnight; four women cross paths with a costumed stalker at a local festival; a group of pranksters goes too far and discovers the horrifying truth buried in a local legend; and a cantankerous old hermit is visited by a strange trick-or-treater with a few bones to pick. Costumes and candy, ghouls and goblins, monsters and mayhem... the tricks and treats of Halloween turn deadly as strange creatures of every variety—human and otherwise—try to survive the scariest night of the year.

Ever since I've seen the trailer for Treak r Treat on the DVD of 300 when ut 1st came out, I've seen the trailer more 20-30 times. I've told friends of it and shared with them the trailer. Many of my friends and I have been waiting for this movie to hit the big screen, and now it looks like only Los Angeles will get to see it. Warner Bros, if you don't put this movie on the big screen for all to have a chance to see for Halloween of 08, you don't know jack**** from a jack-o-lantern. I grew up in LA, and after moving to Charlotte, NC. I've learned LA don't know CRAP of Halloween!

PUT IT on the BIGSCREEN and MARKET the HELL out of it, It'll be bigger then the original Halloween movie!

Y'know what? Let 'em just release it on DVD. Make it a TINY release.

We horror fans will turn it into the sleeper hit they ARE expecting. Let's just be a little more patient, then spread the word when it comes out! We will show them horror fans are keeping eyes peeled, figuratively speaking of course.

Mike doughetry sent me this message on myspace.

"None of the release rumors you've been reading about are accurate. There will be two official announcements in the coming months. One at the NYC Fangoria Weekend of Horrors in early June, and the other at Comic Con in late July. Until then, don't believe what you read online.

Anyhow, thanks for the support and please help spread the word."

so there you have it everybody
straight from the directors official myspace page.

Can't wait to get this on blu-ray. Saw it at the con and could'nt believe it wasn't getting a wider release. I will be playing this on Halloween for my little cousins before they go trick or treating. Great movie.

Posted by: lordkilljoy on October 30, 2009 at 19:50:36

this movie had soo much hype behind it i thought it was going to be a epic horror movie but it turned out to be one of the worst movie is ever seen. the trialor is better then the actual movie. the only thing good about the movie is the halloween atmosphere. they should just air this movie on cinemax and get it over with. its kool that they got comic books of this coming out and thers a collectible sam doll but the actual movie is pure crap
