Plot Summary: Casey Bell (Odette Yustman) hated her mother for leaving her as a child. But when inexplicable things start to happen, Casey begins to understand why she left. Plagued by merciless dreams and a tortured ghost that haunts her waking hours, she must turn to the only spirtual advisor, Sendak (Gary Oldman), who can make it stop.
With Sendak's help, Casey uncovers the source of a family curse dating back to Nazi Germany—a creature with the ability to inhabit anyone or anything that is getting stronger with each possession. With the curse unleashed, her only chance at survival is to shut a doorway from beyond our world that has been pried open by someone who was never born.

I thought maybe it was a remake, i thought in the 80's there was a movie with this title, if there is I wonder if it's the same story line. Either way I'm going to have to watch it just because of Gary Oldman mmm hmmm.....

It was pretty terrible...
I mean, sure, they had some good mythology going on there.
The dybbuk was pretty awesome, and the old lady, hilarious.
Sorry if I spoil it, but the kid is a dybbuk, and it's not her twin, it's technically her Grandfather who died in Auschwitz...

this movie looked like it was going to be alright but ended up following every pg13 horror movie(besides Drag me to Hell) as being a watered down piece of crap.. goyer should stick to co writing **** and leave movie making alone..
Only decent part of this was watching the lead girl who is hot..
if i would have spent money on this rather then downloading it off a torrent site i would have been really pissed off,,,Gary oldman what were you thinking
