I agree with Ducky. It wasn't until watching IV, however, that I realized the sheer funkin brilliance of the series, especially the last 2 volumes.

Like the rules of Trilogy Horror Movies, it is going to take a lot of fire power to keep this sucker and down and make sure he stays down once and for all!

I'm one of the biggest fans of this franchise, and one of the few that appreciates how much better each film is getting. The original seems so timid and slow after the last few.

I personally think Darren evolved with each film he directed. I just hope David Hackl can keep this momentum going.

Soooooo many questions left at the end of Saw IV so the bait is there. I just hope it gets taken. I'll be there on opening day to judge.

I still like part 2 as being the best of all!!!

OH GOD!!!! ANOTHER ONE!!! Please let it die - slowly and painfully if possible.

Posted by: Man in Black on April 21, 2008 at 01:09:20

Oh god, another one, another person saying Saw should die.Another poor soul that just can't handle it and acts like the making of a movie is just going to affect their life.Oh no what a sad day.If you don't like the Saw movies just don't go see it.Plain and Simple. It has a big enough fan base to keep it going.MATT

I totally agree with 'Man in Black'. The choice is simple... either enjoy the series or dont go, we aint forcing you to go!

Spike...if you were a real fan of SAW you would not say the first one was slow and timid...you would say it is the best out of the entire series and, for me at least, the only one where the ending surprised you

when is the trailer or teaser coming out? :D

Man In Black is right, even though he is an A$$ licking glory-hole prostitute. Saw has a big enough fan base that they will easily turn out another three movies.

Man In Black. Just because someone does not like a series does not mean they are weak and "can't handle" it. Maybe they just think it has poor direction, acting, scripting, etc...

It is possible, you know.

does anyone know what happened to the little girl at the end of 3??

Posted by: Halloween Zombie on July 8, 2008 at 15:53:21

Does anyone else realize they never mentioned the whereabouts of the Detective's son at the end of SAW 2??

Posted by: Harmoni on July 15, 2008 at 19:02:28

I must say that I am super geeked about seeing this installment in the series! There are a lot of questions that have left to be answered. What happened to the little girl at the end of Saw 3? What happened to the detective's son at the end of Saw 2? These movies, to me, are TRUE horror. They have substance, thrill, mystery, suspense, they always leave you hanging wanting more AND they have a "Can't be killed" villian. :-) Why do you think we loved Freddy and Jason so much? Because they were invincible (or seemingly) and the thrill of seeing "how they kill'em next" I think really heightens the experience of a horror film for real horror fans. I say do 3 more SAWS! LOL I'm definitely seeing IV I OWN THE OTHER FOUR!!!

Oppsss meant to say "I'm definitely seeing V..."

And did I add that I think the promo poster is FREAKIN AWESOME! LOL Ok, I'm done now. LOL

Please let this be straight to video. This movie is nothing more then a waste of space.

...Bring on Trick R Treat.

Posted by: keith on July 20, 2008 at 20:21:27

if you watch saw 4 detective hoffman is talking about a short story in explaining the little girl

Posted by: kirsty holmes on July 22, 2008 at 17:59:11

i am a huge fan of the saw films i love them i am such a huge fan of them even tho i am onli 15 i av watched all of them so far and i am looking foward to the next ones that will be made i cant help wondering who will continue in jigsaws work tho he dies at the end of the 3rd one n the 4th was about some of the games that he played with people and there lives and what happened to him when he died so anyone else wonder who it is who continues his work.

Posted by: Will on July 24, 2008 at 21:37:01

When did Hoffman explain about the daughter? And am I mistaken or didnt Eric Matthews (Donnie Wahlberg) get his head smashed because the detective walked in...Amanda gto shot, no ambulance for her rescue, last we saw the kid from 2 was in the safe opened with an oxygen tank, our options are hoffman and jigsaw's wife...I cant think of anyone else. I think it only gets better, each movie they tie in why and how this all started, and 3 is the best with 4 on its heels
