That's the same damn plot as last time...I thought this was supposed to be a PREQUEL not a ****in remake...

DAMMIT!!! The original was actually good, and now the only reason they're making a prequel is NO! not to show how these killers got started but to WHAT?! continue the series because the original was SO good...and Hollywood just pulled it off the shelf one day and said 'HEY, THIS MOVIE KILLED OFF IT'S KILLERS SO WE CAN'T MAKE STUPIED, ****ED UP SEQUEL OF IT" then another guy goes "HEY, WHAT IF WE MAKE IT A PREQUEL, SO EVEN THOUGH THE FIRST WAS A STAND ALONE FILM WE CAN MAKE MORE MONEY OFF THE FRANCHISE, AND BEAT THE ORGINALITY OUT OF IT"

****!...I HATE Hollywood!!!!!!!!

This makes no sense at all. I agree with you Ash, this sounds like a freakin' remake and not a prequel. I dug Vacancy but this crap of remaking things is really tired.

This doesn't make any sense to me either. This is the most ridiculous thing I have heard of during this whole decade. The first one was done so well - it had a Hitchcock touch that no other film has had in a VERY long time. With this being titled as a prequel, I assume that all of the protagonists will be killed off, since the killer creeps were alive in the proceeding storyline. That makes this another torture porn flick and I'm starting to get bored of those.

think about it...what could possibly happen. the guy that runs it obviously doesnt die since he doesnt die until the first vacancy. So that means the 3 people staying there must all die. if they got away wouldn't they just go to the police and tell them about that place?

i agree with the above posts. the first movie had suspense and thrill throught it plus it didnt hurt that it had 2 well known well liked actors. but this one is the excat same thing just with no names in it. either dont make a sequel or do it right. they screwed up wrong turn and stir of echos that way.

I think vacancy2 was an alright movie,not as bad as the first one.I give it a 9 out of 10.
