Plot Summary: Four months after the tragic car accident that claimed the life of her husband, the very pregnant Sarah (Alysson Paradis) is relaxing alone in her suburban house on Christmas Eve, waiting for her mother to take her to the hospital where her doctor will induce labour. The silent night is broken by a knock on the door as a woman (Beatrice Dalle) calmly asks to use the phone. Immediately suspicious, Sarah refuses to let the stranger in and calls the police, who find no trace of the woman when they arrive. When they depart, Sarah locks the door, unwittingly trapping herself in a jealous maternal struggle for the survival of the new life within her belly. Sarah must fight back against a scissor-wielding madwoman hell-bent on taking one thing away from her...

Horrible. No need to see unless you're a first year NYU film student who's trying to impress his French New Wave Prof.

JT Walsh is correct. This sentiment is elaborated on here: http://vardulon.blogspot.com/2008/04/open-letter-to-makers-of-inside.html
Thank you for your time.

I’ll not be surprised if Inside will be the most terrifying horror of 2008 but honestly said I don’t see the reason of making such a movie.

I forgot to elaborate.
I also suck cocks, enjoy enemas and masturbate over animal pornography.
Thank you for your time.

Second scariest movie of all time (My number one is CANNIBAL HOLOCAUST before you ask). Watched it once and have left it on the shelf ever since. That is not because it was poorly made at all. Not in the slightest. "Inside" as a film was perhaps too effective. And (I'm comfortable saying this, being a guy and all) at the end of the film, I felt terrible, wanted to cry for the woman and did not sleep. It truly terrorized me. I can't even fault it for the shots of inside the woman's belly of the baby. That just added to the effectiveness. Truly horrible and horrifying. It works 100%.

Kick-Ass film.
Brutal and effective in every way. Like other French horror films, it sets out to hurt you and hurt you it does........ Very Well.
It is not gore-for-gore's sake. If you watched it and thought that, then you did not get this film and missed the point entirely.
If you stab somebody, there will be blood, yes? So naturally there is a lot of blood in this film because the attacks are so vicious.
Easily one of the best horror films in recent years.
